Frank T. McAndrew, Ph.D.
Social Psychologist & Essayist
I do not actively promote myself as a consultant because I keep pretty busy with writing and doing professor stuff. Having said this, I am usually open to working on an interesting project if you think that I have something to offer.
Feel free to contact me and we can explore possibilities.

My interests are flexible. I have done everything from designing interactive exhibits for a zoo to analyzing medical studies for a law firm. I am currently serving as a "fear consultant" for filmmakers who are shooting a horror movie and working with another filmmaker on a documentary about mail-order brides. I have even consulted with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Florida Department of Community Affairs on the causes and consequences of population growth in the Florida Keys.
I once conducted a three-day workshop on starting an interdisciplinary graduate program in Family Studies at the University of the Western Cape in South Africa, and I also facilitated a two-day workshop on "Alpha Males" and the violence of young men at the C. G. Jung Institute in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Other organizations that I recently worked with include the European Research Council, Cleverbridge,
7th SENSE, Looking Up Productions, & The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
